Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure soaking in the tranquil charm of this historic port town. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Begin your day with a guided sightseeing tour of Cochin. Explore Fort Cochin with its lingering Jewish heritage, the iconic Santa Cruz Basilica, the Dutch-built Mattancherry Palace, and St. Francis Church. Take a stroll through Jew Street and enjoy the view of Chinese fishing nets swaying along the coastline. Return to your hotel for the night.
After breakfast, head to the serene village of Kumarakom on the banks of Lake Vembanad. Experience traditional coconut harvesting and spice-based culinary practices. Don’t miss a visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, home to numerous rare and migratory bird species. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Post breakfast, step aboard a beautifully crafted houseboat for an unforgettable overnight cruise through Kerala’s backwaters. Watch life unfold along the riverbanks – from coir making to paddy fields and temples – all framed by coconut palms and peaceful waters. Meals will be served onboard. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
