Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport or Ernakulam railway station, you’ll be welcomed by our representative and driven to Athirapally (approx. 63 km). Check into your hotel and unwind. The awe-inspiring Athirapally Waterfalls, surrounded by lush forests and glistening streams, create the perfect backdrop for your first day in Kerala. Overnight stay in Athirapally.
After breakfast, visit the serene Vazhachal Waterfalls and then proceed to Thumboormuzhi Dam – a peaceful spot featuring a lush garden, a scenic hanging bridge over the Chalakudy River, and a vibrant butterfly garden. Return to your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight stay in Athirapally.
After breakfast, check out and head to Munnar (approx. 5 hrs). En route, enjoy waterfalls and the captivating natural views. Located at the confluence of three mountain streams, Munnar is a tranquil hill station once favored by British officials. Check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.
After breakfast, delve into Munnar’s highlights: visit the Tea Museum to learn about the region’s history, admire the blooms at Floriculture Centre (Rose Garden), and explore Eravikulam National Park – home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Later, visit Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake, followed by serene stops at Photo Point and Echo Point. Return to your hotel for overnight stay. (Activity/entry fees not included.)
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (approx. 4 hrs). Check into your hotel, then explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a lush reserve known for tigers, elephants, and rare bird species. Post breakfast, drive to Alleppey (approx. 4 hrs) and board a traditional houseboat for an overnight backwater cruise. Starting with lunch, glide past paddy fields, fishing villages, old temples, and coconut groves. Let the calm waters and gentle breeze set the mood. Meals served onboard. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
