Qutab Minar is a minaret and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a 73-metre (239.5 feet) tall tapering tower of five storeys. Its design is thought to have been based on the Minaret of Jam in western Afghanistan. Qutab Ud Din Aibak, founder of the Delhi Sultanate, started construction of the Qutub Minar’s first storey around 1192. Later additions were made. The nearby pillared Cupola known as “Smith’s Folly” is a remnant of the tower’s 19th century restoration, which included an ill-advised attempt to add a sixth storey.
Drive past Parliament House and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s residence. Also visit India Gate, (originally called the All-India War Memorial) is a war memorial located astride the Rajpath. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, It is a memorial to 70,000 soldiers
of the British Indian Army who died in the period 1914–21 in the First World War. The India Gate, even though a war memorial, evokes the architectural style of the triumphal arch like the Arch of Constantine, outside the Colosseum in Rome, and is often compared to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh temple) was first built as a small temple by Sikh General, Sardar Baghel Singh in 1783. The complex also houses a higher secondary school, Baba Baghel Singh Museum, a library and a hospital. Back to hotel. Check in at hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning transfer to New Delhi train station to board the train to Ajmer.

Meet on arrival and drive to Pushkar. Check in at hotel.
Afternoon camel cart Ride. Evening Kalbeliya dance show.
Also visit local market and roam around Pushkar Lake. It is a sacred lake of the Hindus. The Hindu scriptures describe it as “Tirtha-Raj” – the king of pilgrimage sites related to a water-body and relate it to the mythology of the creator-God Brahma, whose most prominent temple stands in Pushkar. The Pushkar Lake finds mention on coins as early as the 4th century BC.

After breakfast, check-out and proceed to visit Brahma Temple. A Hindu temple close to the sacred Pushkar Lake to which its legend has an indelible link. The temple is one of very few existing temples dedicated to the Hindu creator-God Brahma in India and remains the most prominent among them. The temple structure dates to the 14th century, partly rebuilt later. The temple is made of marble and stone slabs. It has a distinct red pinnacle and a bird motif. The temple sanctum sanctorum holds the image of four-headed Brahma and his consort Gayatri.
Later drive to Jaipur. Transfer to hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Hawa Mahal: Hawa Mahal is a palace in Jaipur, India, so named because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. We stop here for the photographs from outside.
Amber Fort: You will explore the massive Amber Fort. Inside fort visit the Temple of Kali, the Hall of Victory or Jal Mahal and Jagmandir. The top of the hill on which the fort is situated. It has halls of Public and Private Audience, a Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) various marble palaces which are marvellous examples of ancient Rajput architecture.
After Amer Fort we stop at Jal Mahal for photography from outside, entry is not permitted).
Jal Mahal Jaipur: Literally meaning ‘Water Palace’, Jal Mahal is located amidst the Man Sagar Lake and was constructed by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. The beauty of the palace lies in its location as the palace cum hotel is standing in the Centre of the lake.
Visit Galta Ji (Monkey Temple). Situated at about a distance of 10 kms from Jaipur in the city of Khania-Balaji, the Galtaji temple is a Hindu pilgrimage often visited by the people from all over the country.
Proceed to visit City Palace – the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles which houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and armoury of the Mughals and Rajputs, including swords of different shapes and sizes with ornate handles. It has an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.
Also visit Jantar-Mantar – a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II and completed in 1734. It features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit Local Bazar of Jaipur. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Agra.
Upon arrival, proceed to visit the most iconic monuments, the world-famous Taj Mahal – described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, it was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble and took 22 years to complete. What makes the Taj unique is its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, medium of construction and ornamentation.
Also visit Agra Fort, construction of the massive red sandstone was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It is an imposing structure with walls of red sandstone almost three kilometres long. It houses halls of public (Dewan –E- Aam) & private (Dewan –E- Khas) audiences.

Meet & greet on arrival and drive to Orchha and transfer to hotel for Check-in.
Orchha’ s grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time, a rich legacy to the ages. In this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly, and the palaces and temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries retain much of their pristine perfection. On arrival Orchha, check in at the hotel.
Later proceed to explore its forts, palaces and temples that still retained their ancient grandeur. Visit Jahangir Mahal, Chhatris Cenotaphs. Ram Raja temple, Chaturbhuj temple.
Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, check-out and drive to Khajuraho.
On arrival check in at the hotel and proceed to visit Eastern & Western Group of temples of which the most famous is the Kendariya Mahadev temple, 31 meters high. It has a fantastic range of sculptures. The Chaussât Yogini is a granite temple and the Devi Jagdambe, a temple dedicated to the mother Goddess and the Chitragupta temple dedicated to Surya, the Sun God.
Aling a marked pathway you can follow the Ken River as it plunges down gorges. The pink sandstone boulders, sculpted by the water over the centuries, glow like burnished metal in the fading light of the setting sun. Back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Varanasi (7 hours approximately)
Varanasi is situated on the left (west) bank of the River Ganga and is generally believed to be about 3,000 years old. It is regarded holy by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains. The culture of Varanasi is closely associated with the River Ganges and the river’s religious importance. The city has been a cultural and religious centre in northern India for several thousand years. Many prominent Indian philosophers, poets, writers, and musicians resided or reside in Varanasi.
Proceed to evening prayer (Aarti) ceremony on ghats of the holy river Ganges.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Early morning wakes up and proceed for boat ride on River Ganges to see the bathing ghats and people performing rituals. Back to hotel for breakfast.
Later proceed for city tour of Varanasi including Jyotilinga Visvanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Ganga Temple, Gyan Vappi Well etc.
Later in the afternoon visit Sarnath (Friday closed). Sarnath, the site where Buddha set in motion the wheel of Dharma and established the Sanga. One of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 BC. Witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine Museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site. Also visit the local colourful markets. Back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

On time check-out and transfer to Varanasi airport to board the flight for Delhi.
Meet & greet on arrival and proceed to visit Jama Masjid, most elegant mosque at Chandni Chowk in Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best-known mosque in India which holds about 25,000 people.
Enjoy Rickshaw ride at the main street of Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk is the heart of Delhi. Chaotically competing for space, its narrow lanes are filled with shops to buy inexpensive stuff.
Later proceed to visit Swaminarayan Akshardham. It epitomizes 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breath-taking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. The Swaminarayan Akshardham complex was built in only five years through the blessings of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) and the colossal devotional efforts of 11,000 artisans and thousands of BAPS volunteers. Heralded by the Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple, the complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005.
Musical Water Show – Circle of Life (Evening at 1900 hrs) – (Monday closed)
A spectacular musical fountain show that depicts the cycle of birth, life, and death as described in Indian philosophy. After show, back to hotel by 2100 hrs.
Later transfer to hotel and check-in. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
On time transfer to New Delhi Railway station to board the Shatabdi train to Haridwar.

In the evening, proceed to visit the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Triveni ghat. The Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, also called as the Maha Aarti, is an evening prayer performed on the banks of the River Ganga. It is a major highlight of the ghat, which attracts a large number of devotees and visitors. The Aarti is accompanied with chanting of bhajans, beating drums and bell. After Aarti, transfer to hotel.

Lakshman Jhula: This is a hanging bridge, which has been a popular attraction amongst the tourists visiting Rishikesh. Build in 1929, the suspension iron bridge Lakshman Jhula is believed to be the place where Rama’s brother Lakshman crossed the river on a jute rope. Tourists can enjoy the breathtaking surroundings while standing on the bridge.
Rishikund: Lying near to Triveni Ghat, Rishikund is an ancient place. Legends relate this to Kubz Saint. He was blessed by the Goddess Yamuna by infusing this pond by its water. It reflects the temple of Ragunath, which is dedicated to lord Rama and his wife.
Triveni Ghat: It is the main ghat in the town region. Many pilgrims come here to take the holy dip. In the evening, you can attend the spectacular Ganga Aarti at the ghat.
Bharat Mandir – located in the heart of the old town and on the banks of the Ganges, Bharat Mandir was built in 12th century by Adiguru Shankra Charya. The inner sanctum of the temple houses the idol of lord Vishnu that has been carved out of single Saligram.
Geeta Bhawan: It is amongst the oldest temple complexes in the area. The holy Indian epic Ramayana and Mahabharata are illustrated on the walls. Followed by great Ganga Aarti ceremony at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. After Aarti, back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Around 1000 hrs check-out and drive to Haridwar.
Haridwar – also spelled Hardwar (gate to God), is an ancient city and is regarded as one of the seven holiest places to Hindus. According to the Samudra Manthan, Haridwar along with Ujjain, Nashik and Prayag is one of four sites where drops of Amrit, the elixir of immortality, accidentally spilled over from the pitcher while being carried by the celestial bird Garuda. This is manifested in the Kumbha Mela, which is celebrated every 12 years in Haridwar. Brahma Kund, the spot where the Amrit fell, is located at Har ki Pauri (literally, “footsteps of the Lord”) and is considered to be the most sacred ghat of Haridwar. It presents a kaleidoscope of Indian culture and development.
Bharat Mata temple – The Bharat Mata Mandir or the Mother India Temple, consisting of eight stories, the temple is a major attraction. The temple was set up by Satyamitranand Giri. The late Indian Prime Minister Smt Indira Gandhi inaugurated the Bharat Mata Mandir herself in the year 1983.
Daksh Mahadev temple – also popular as the Daksha Temple. It has the privilege of being one of the most ancient in Haridwar. The temple was erected in 1810 AD. The Daksha Temple carries more significance due to the fact that it occupies a place in the list of five sacred sites in the town of Haridwar in Uttarakhand.
Rudraksh Tree: The Vyas Mandir established by Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji of the Kashi Math had a large number of Rudraksha saplings planted during its initial years. The tree takes about 15 to 18 years to take full shape. It is a really big tree.
Also spend some time at Har ki Pauri is a famous ghat on the banks of the Ganges. This revered place is the major landmark of the holy city of Haridwar. Literally, “Har” means “Lord Shiva” who is the god according to shaivite Rishav Bhagwan school of Hindu theology, “Ki” means “of” and “Pauri” means “steps”.
