Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, you’ll be received and transferred to your hotel. Spend your afternoon exploring this vibrant coastal city – known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.” Discover landmarks like the Dutch Palace (closed Fridays & Saturdays), Jewish Synagogue (closed Fridays & Saturdays), Jewish Street, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica (both closed Sundays), and the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay in Cochin.
After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic drive to Munnar (approx. 4 hrs), enjoying waterfalls and panoramic vistas en route. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Post breakfast, head out for local sightseeing. Nestled at the junction of three mountain streams, Munnar sits 1600 meters above sea level. Visit attractions such as the Rose Garden, Photo Point, Honey Tree, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundale Lake. In the afternoon, proceed to Rajamalai to spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Return for overnight stay in Munnar.
Check out after breakfast and drive to Thekkady (approx. 4 hrs). Check into your hotel and gear up for a visit to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – one of India’s most captivating forest reserves. Home to tigers, elephants, and exotic flora and fauna, it’s a paradise for nature lovers. Optional activities (at additional cost) include a boat ride on Periyar Lake, spice plantation tour, and elephant ride. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
After breakfast, head to Alleppey (approx. 4 hrs) and board a traditional houseboat for an unforgettable overnight cruise. Drift through serene backwaters lined with swaying palms, ancient temples, paddy fields, and village life. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay onboard.
After breakfast onboard, check out and drive to Cochin Airport for your departure. Based on your flight timing, you may opt to adjust your Cochin sightseeing on Day 1 or today. Leave Kerala with cherished memories of camaraderie, nature, and culture.
